Count St. Germain acted as an advisor to the rulers of Europe. In France, for example, he was a trusted advisor to King Louis the XV, and later tried to warn the royal family of the threat of a revolution. There are several records and documented eye-witness reports of his appearances, in the courts of Europe, throughout several centuries. In each instance of seeing him, he seemed not to have aged at all. He is "a man who knows everything and who never dies," said Voltaire of the Comte de Saint-Germain.
